I like spontaneous portraits.

 

Some strange force attracts my gaze.

Fixing a feeling, a sentiment,

which permeates another look.

 

There is no second opportunity,

unlike in painting, writing,

or studio work which permit repeating,

modifying, rewriting, rehearsing, opting.

 

What happens is therefore a moment,

a singular instant, imperfect and unique,

never to be repeated...

 

Just like Life!
